Apple Has Reportedly Stopped Production for Its $3500 1st Gen Vision Pro Headset but Is Said to Be Re-Working Designs For a 2nd Gen Model

I like the idea. I just dont see the Apple Vision Pro as being anything more than an edge product. Get it into a pair of glasses or something the size of safety goggles, while upping the system specs, and lowering the price by at least 1/2. Be interesting and nice to see the next iteration...

    New sub $1k build ideas

This is $800-1k for everything. Right now he is on a laptop and has only a mouse. One of my nephews is asking for help piecing out a new, first time builder, system. If he was closer I could give him a lot of crap but too far for it to be easily done. I've specked my own systems many times...

AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D and 9900X3D to Include 3D V-Cache on Both CCD Chiplets, According to Latest Report

With the x3d cache's as the bottom layer, I wonder if the tech is there for them to be directly connected (assuming a cache for both CCD's) and if it could be fast enough, perhaps by making it super wide bits wise or some such to alleviate the bandwidth issues. Well some/part of them anyways...

U.S. Senator Pens Letter to Valve, Pressing Company to Crack Down on “Hateful Accounts” and “Rhetoric Proliferating” on Steam

I appreciate the thought, I truly wonder if Valve is willing to risk alienating those 1 million users? Until something extreme happens and they have no choice, that is.

LG Has Developed the World’s First Stretchable Display Which Can Be Expanded by up to Fifty Percent

Looks useful for putting a display into/on any surface - kinda like Star Trek :) With some creativity and imagination this could be pretty exciting. Of course, not just for Sex Dolls but Sex does sell. Sadly I am thinking 5-10 years before it hits the street, if not longer.

Ohhhhhh..... They are so big and hard. Such a tease too. Gonna be years before they are affordable to the likes of me. Still, it is nice to see HD tech continue to advance.
