    Cinebench 2026

Found a 8GB RTX 5060Ti at my local bestbuy marked down huge so I figured I'd give it a go in R26

DRAM Prices Skyrocket to a Record 171% YoY Level as Shortages Continue amid Increased Demand from AI-Driven Applications

This same kit it now up to $749 CAD, Now is definitely time to part with a few of my kits https://www.newegg.ca/team-group-t-force-delta-rgb-32gb-ddr5-7200-cas-latency-cl34-desktop-memory-black/p/N82E16820331923?srsltid=AfmBOoonkyJm-BayoHw_8HcKF5SgPf5aYs_A6pS7136mo1BhaIfElqzx

    Cinebench 2026

What happens if you make a 285K a 12 Core CPU 8P and 4E Cores (E-Cores get more Cache) Not a bad result at all @igor_kavinski you were saying intel lost it's optimizations for Cinebench for R26, so what are comparable lower core count AMD chips getting? I've also heard the argument that...

    Cinebench 2026

What is your definition of serious cooling? So I'm getting 10419 points with nothing more than a 360mm AIO (Nautilus 360) is that serious? My system isn't even fully tweaked either, I don't quite understand the logic that arrowlake is hard to cool and requires exotic cooling, it's so far...

    Cinebench 2026

That's a trashy arrow lake cpu that no one likes......its no different than a 285k with reduced power limits. Ive tested my 285k at a bunch of different PL1 and PL2 settings and how it affects gaming performance. The official intel TDP limits state up to 160w of turbo and a base of 55w...

    Cinebench 2026

Reran the test, I guess i'm only 600 points off the guy with the "extreme cooling" 285K is, just a simple 360mm AIO, does that qualify as "custom"

    Cinebench 2026

I get over 10000 with nothing other than a 360mm AIO, I also don't find it hard to cool at all. Didn't run with my 5090 because I sold it a few weeks ago for more than I paid due to prices going stupid here in Canada for almost everything again. 2P 5.7 E-Cores 4.9ghz 7200C34 Ram, Asus Strix...

    Intel Core Ultra 9 285K & Ultra 5 245K CPU Review

Taken from reddit DDR3 2600, and a 4.2ghz OC is about the best it will get for that CPU. I have one that does 4.1ghz and has 2133 DDR3. I built a 5775c system just for fun because I didn't have the means to buy one when the chip first came out because it was impossible to find (and...

    300w? That's cute

    35% off @ $259.99 Intel Core Ultra 7 Desktop Processor 265K - 20 cores (8 P-cores + 12 E-cores) up to 5.5 GHz

So I guess arrow lake aged like fine wine? To quote what AMD unboxed said about AMD drivers. But Intel isn't allowed to have gains that makes them better, only AMD right?

DRAM Prices Skyrocket to a Record 171% YoY Level as Shortages Continue amid Increased Demand from AI-Driven Applications

Purchased T-Force 7200 CL34 (3 Kits) Between May-Aug of this year. $153-163$ CAD Its now listed @ 330$ but no stock anywhere, have seen it at $440 with no stock and as high as $640 (in stock) Might be time to part with some of the kits and make some money.

Still sidestepping my question which you haven't proved yet. A 265K has worse gaming performance than a 9800X3D even when it has a far superior GPU......that test says nothing since it's all testing with the same GPU, so once again, the onus is on you to prove a 265K gets worse performance than...

The 10 Most Influential CPUs of All Time

Nope, even had a hole cut in the side of my full tower case for an 80mm fan right above the heatsink, case sat on the floor under my desk. The noise wasn't that noticeable with it tucked under there. It sure was a different era back then, high rpm fans were pretty much the norm for serious...

The 10 Most Influential CPUs of All Time

I have quite fond memories of the Socket A days. Were they influential cpu's maybe not to most but it sure woke into up to the race to 1ghz. Then intel tried a 1.13ghz P3 and it was basically overclocked and unstable, good times. Managed to pick up a Duron 650 that was factory unlocked...

Who said anything about being offended? Still waiting on the clarification that a 265K loses more performance vs a 9800X3D even when running a higher end GPU, funny how no one wants to explain how that happens when the numbers don't support that at all.

    35% off @ $259.99 Intel Core Ultra 7 Desktop Processor 265K - 20 cores (8 P-cores + 12 E-cores) up to 5.5 GHz

I'm not changing anything....you really avoid actually making statements that would prove yourself wrong.

So you are saying arrow lake cpu's give unplayable frame rates regardless of GPU used? And people should spend 350$ more when they don't have to because if they don't the games they play will be unplayable ?
