    35% off @ $259.99 Intel Core Ultra 7 Desktop Processor 265K - 20 cores (8 P-cores + 12 E-cores) up to 5.5 GHz

So what's the better deal? You mean to tell me that the AMD system will be better for gaming in all metrics vs the intel one?

It's funny you mention that, because I'm fairly certain it was YOU that mocked me for suggesting someone go with a 265K and a higher end GPU with the money saved vs spending much more on a 9800X3D, but now it's ok to do something similar because of ram prices? You can still go up a tier in GPU...

    35% off @ $259.99 Intel Core Ultra 7 Desktop Processor 265K - 20 cores (8 P-cores + 12 E-cores) up to 5.5 GHz

Oh so it's no longer a good deal to buy anything now because of ram prices? So that makes buying AMD bad as well because they cost even more? it's funny how I highlighted that you can buy an arrow lake system CPU/MB/Ram for almost the same price as an AMD CPU/Mb but without ram, but it's still...

The "refresh" is not much of a refresh, some new models that are barely different than what is currently available. 290K = 100mhz more turbo speeds 265K gets 4 more e cores so it's basically what a 285K is today 250K gets 100mhz increase in clocks and 4 more e cores, Official DDR5 7200 ram...

Speaking of deals, things are quite good here in Canada for AR CPU's and MB CPU/MB/Ram Combo for $40 more than the Price of a 9800X3D/MB In fact the best CPU deals seem to be on the intel side of things right now.

    Intel Core Ultra 9 285K & Ultra 5 245K CPU Review

Weird, someone else other than myself did some testing and found AL performing decent in games at higher resolutions. I guess I wasn't the paid intel shill everyone accused me of. I didn't see a lot of "niche situations" unless of course we now consider gaming at 4K "niche"

Well it's not a CPU/Chipset issue because I just tested 2 1TB Gen 4 Drives in my 285K Z890 System. The KC3000 Drive is nearly as fast in multithreaded writes as your 4TB Gen 5 drive..... The WD Drive is not doing very well.

Overclocking NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti

Picked up a Msi Ventus 3X OC 5070Ti, only because I just happened to see one in stock at my local bestbuy when they first came out. Would not have been my first choice for AIB brand/board but I really wanted one NOW. Hard locked to 300w TGP. but through some undervolting and OC I was able...

    Intel Core Ultra 9 285K & Ultra 5 245K CPU Review

Appreciate the support, You are right, I'll just provide the data.......and let people digest that, I just get sick of hearing how when there is any Arrow Lake data that is positive, it's a 5 alarm fire and the AMD folks come rolling in like white on rice.

NVIDIA RTX 50 SUPER Series Might Debut at CES 26, Launch Between March-May, and Has Been Spotted on the Seasonic Website

So many people were convinced it was happening this fall/Xmas season. The advice "just wait for the fal for the supers" wasn't the best advice. After all with Blackwell being released this year it would be pretty odd to have a refresh so soon

So 4tb drives are slower in 4k than 2tb? My 2tb drive was also running windows and all the BS I run. So chipset issue or something else?

Both of my tests were done with nvme settings, and it would appear my 4k results are much better than yours.

    Intel Core Ultra 9 285K & Ultra 5 245K CPU Review

What Do I need 18GB of Local NVME storage for? 6GB of which is gen 5. Video editing, I deal with large video files and having quick access to them is important before they go off into network storage. I don't chase 3Dmark and CDM tests, I simply have them to make sure things are working right...

    Intel Core Ultra 9 285K & Ultra 5 245K CPU Review

Wasn't trying a sales pitch, then again its the same BS dribble you post online everywhere else whenever AL is mentioned. You are an internet no one as well. So you have tested and played with arrow lake? Again when was having to upgrade motherboards a dead end platform? That never stopped...

Intel Arc News Roundup: New Driver, Legacy Driver Branching Has Begun, Multiframe Generation Technology Could Be on the Horizon for XeSS, and More

I've been trying to track down an Arc B50 on canada, looks promising for some workstation uses. It's nice to see intel still focused on its GPU division when most wrote that division off with nvidias cash injection.
