From Bad to Worse, NVIDIA Reportedly Will Cut RTX 50 Series Production by 30–40% in 2026 and Might Stop Providing VRAM to Its Partners

Me too. Digital has its own set of issues, and I do miss physical media being available — but by and large I also prefer digital distribution. Cloud computing should be the next logical extension of that - but it’s been well covered here; the shortfalls are too steep with current technology

New Mozilla CEO Says Firefox Will Evolve into a “Modern AI Browser” with AI Features That Can Be Turned On or Off by the User

You and I do.. but a lot of people any more don't have any use for a desktop at all... Hence the market for Chromebooks and such. Which are pretty much cloud-based platforms like you describe.

Which CPU design do you think will come from the AMD Indian Cores team?

Not opposed to it honestly. Some of Intels best stuff came from Israel. After all, they have all that experience from years of running all the call centers! (Sorry couldn’t keep that one to myself)

Pre-Arrow Lake Xe iGPUs abandoned by Intel

You aren't wrong. But it sends a pretty strong message when you are sunsetting a product that's only a couple of years old. "What's next on the chopping block" is what I'm hearing.

    Smoking hot deal! 32gb DDR5 for only $400! /s

If I were a betting man, I would bet half this price increase is just people speculatively buying the run-up.

Pre-Arrow Lake Xe iGPUs abandoned by Intel

Holy cow, didn't Raptor Lake just launch a couple years ago? Arc is older than that. (and I still can't believe it hasn't been axed or sold off...)

From Bad to Worse, NVIDIA Reportedly Will Cut RTX 50 Series Production by 30–40% in 2026 and Might Stop Providing VRAM to Its Partners

This is truth right here. Get ready to fall in love all over again with discrete video and gaming consoles.

Netflix Didn’t Attribute Any Value to WB Games in Its Deal Because It Was Considered Relatively Minor to the Grand Scheme of Things

Indeed. And yet, Suicide Squad still exists. I can't think of a DC-based game since the Batman Arkham series years ago, if we exclude the Lego ones, although I'm sure some have existed. But you are absolutely correct - there's a lot of content there to mine and there ~could~ be some great games...

Industry-Wide Price Hikes Expected in 2026 as Manufacturers Begin Implementing Price “Adjustments” Due to Memory and Storage Supply Shortages

I'm sure they would... but to your first point... people are brainwashed into Think Green, and tend to not even consider alternatives. It's crazy. How many times have we all heard "but AMD drivers" or started comparing cards solely on the merit of their upscaler or inclusion of some proprietary...

Buyout Deal Worth $82 Billion Could See Netflix Gain Access to Warner Bros. Game IPs Such as Batman, Harry Potter, and Mortal Kombat

Different culture over in Europe, I'm sure you guys have your own set of golden standards.. some overlap, but I'd be shocked if there was a lot. I mean... Eurovision exists, and so does RHOBH - very different.

Netflix Didn’t Attribute Any Value to WB Games in Its Deal Because It Was Considered Relatively Minor to the Grand Scheme of Things

Can say that about a lot of IPs though. There are a lot of great ideas out there, but the hard part is executing. Apparently WB Games makes more money off Lego than anything else. Which... oddly enough... is ~not~ one of the 4 pillars that WB Games announced they would be focusing on in the...

Buyout Deal Worth $82 Billion Could See Netflix Gain Access to Warner Bros. Game IPs Such as Batman, Harry Potter, and Mortal Kombat

Guy has a point. I was just thinking earlier today (largely because I'm seeing the Dick Van Dyke birthday in the news)... there are always those classic movies that become part of the pop culture, and you see referenced all over the place. I can throw out dozens: Young Frankenstein Blues...

Industry-Wide Price Hikes Expected in 2026 as Manufacturers Begin Implementing Price “Adjustments” Due to Memory and Storage Supply Shortages

Thinking about this from another perspective. While I totally agree with the end result of what you are saying... the cause I think I disagree on. Or maybe not disagree, really... just needs more context. RTX was the leading indicator that nVidia was shifting direction as a company. They were...

2025 Game Thread - Anandtech Forums Are Dying Edition

Ooo good idea. Since it's Dec 13... I'm just naming one game. I want to finish Octopath Traveller 2. I'm only 60 hours in and still can't quite see the finish line though.

AMD FSR Redstone Is Coming To Town: ML-FSR For RDNA 4

Wasn't Redstone like a windows 10 thing or something?

Industry-Wide Price Hikes Expected in 2026 as Manufacturers Begin Implementing Price “Adjustments” Due to Memory and Storage Supply Shortages

I.... do not disagree with this actually. I still can't believe the crowd that says "DLSS has better image quality than original". I mean, you are entitled to your opinion... you can think it looks better but... I think it's objectively wrong that a inferred or artificially generated facsimile...

Segotep Is Taking Things to the Next Level as the Overseas Company Is Set to Launch a 12V-2×6 Cable Capable of up to 1080 Watts of Power Delivery

Never heard of them, but I guess that isn't surprising in the US really. When I see the word TITANLOAD... it conjures something NSFW Joking aside... not putting a lot of stock in ~random chinese company~ solving the issues that plague these cables. China can make great stuff but isn't exactly...

Netflix Didn’t Attribute Any Value to WB Games in Its Deal Because It Was Considered Relatively Minor to the Grand Scheme of Things

Nothing to sneeze at sure ... but certainly not Pokemon or GTA numbers. I kinda think Netflix is right here - the gaming division doesn't really move the needle that much, when you are looking at $9B per quarter.
