Oh that's not the issue... it's that the Compact flash drives are like 16 gig. So not enough space for most OS's. So not worth the PITA it would be to get it running right.

Honestly.. if our old ESXI hosts... (dual 18 core systems with 512 or was it 784 gigs of ram) had actual hard drives and not compact flash boot drives I'd think about them finding a path to running this stuff.

Have fun with the card. Talking more current gen I went from a 2080, to a 6800xt to a 7900xtx to... nothing... no price point that would be an upgrade makes sense. And AMD either smartly or not didn't bother to release a replacement fort the 7900xtx so here I sit as prices soar.

Kloopy it's an 8gb card. It's 1080p in most conditions and unless called out should be expected to be 1080p. Most articles will state 1440p where needed as outliers. I hope that helps.

So I'm curious other than as a programmer optimizing the tools... what's the use case for this? I'm not trying to be funny on this one... but want to understand how to use a tool like this. Could I use this on my SQL server to help optimize queries and better utilize the cache on my server...

The same applies to a lot of industries. The company I work for buys a solution. Then we learn the solution and apply it in a way that best fits our org even changing pieces to work better as we see fit. Its like an OS. You install it... are you done? No... it needs to be tweaked and...
