Todd Howard Confirms Fall Launch for Starfield’s Shattered Space DLC, Explains Why Future Fallout Games Won’t Be Set Outside of the U.S.

It would be awesome, though very difficult to pull off, to have a Fallout for each continent. Well, most of them anyways, but does each area/culture have something like the American 1950's to parody? Something with enough depth to do it right? I dont know.

The Lord of the Rings Trilogy Returns to Theaters This Summer

Ya I have the extended versions on either DVD or Blu Ray, and every few years spend a long weekend watching them. I forget if it was the linked article or elsewhere, I had though I read somewhere, that there video and fx, not in the original extended release. Or perhaps I am reading too much...

The Lord of the Rings Trilogy Returns to Theaters This Summer

How much new material? How touched up for the new special effects? And given the extended status, for an already very long set of movies, how will my bladder manage a large cherry coke and a what? 5 hour movie??

Limited-Edition Fallout Gear Announced by Corsair and Elgato

Ummm, I know what the microphone does, the other two pieces I have not a clue. Tried looking at specs and the Corsair site, still dont know. Not an audiophile so what does the box with the buttons do and what does the box with the dial (I assume a volume control) do? For $160 I expect more than...

RGB Lighting on RAM Can Cause Permanent Burn Marks on GPUs, Users Say

Not a problem with my current case, still good to know I suppose. Wonder how much a layer that blocks UV but not visible light would add to costs? I also read the other day, interestingly enough, our retina's can see some UV were it not that our cornea blocks it while remaining transparent to...

ASUS Teases ROG MJOLNIR: “Not An April Fools’ Joke”

WILL not might :) All depends what it is or does? I use a power conditioner. I had a place, years ago, with really dirty power, previous owner had done his own electrical work and what was coming into the building wasnt great to start with. After losing a couple of monitors and a PSU in a...

Qualcomm Says That Its Snapdragon X Elite Processor Should Be Able to Run Most Windows Games

Is it time for Amd/Intel to change from using die space on chip for x32 and other legacy support and switching to emulation as well? I wonder how much that might clean up something like my 7950 x3d, would it make room for more cores or make for smaller dies thus larger yields? Or is the area...

New Windows 11 Update “Completely Breaks the ASUS ROG Ally,” Users Say

This has been a long standing issue with MS and the AMD drivers. Had to deal with it with my Corsair Laptop when I got it last year. I hope AMD and MS can get this worked out because it is freaking annoying to deal with.

ASUS Intel 700|600 Series and AMD AM5 Motherboards Gain Support for up to 256 GB of DDR5 Memory

Playing Secret World Legends four an hour-ish: All things considered not a significant energy sink on my system. My PSU reports from ~250 to ~600 (mostly 300-450) watts on the power in while playing.

ASUS Intel 700|600 Series and AMD AM5 Motherboards Gain Support for up to 256 GB of DDR5 Memory

Ya lets avoid bsod city Testmem5 maxed at 2.75 watts per DIMM or 11 watts total. I suspect the onboard power management is doing its thing to cap the power draw. What the physical configuration for the 1tb of ram? 16 DIMM sockets at 64gb each? I dont know much about the server space and how...

ASUS Intel 700|600 Series and AMD AM5 Motherboards Gain Support for up to 256 GB of DDR5 Memory

I got very curious about the power draw of my own DIMMS after Grimlakin's post. I could not find much info on the topic. What little I did find suggested power draw for DIMMS is negligible, even stating the size of the Capacity didnt matter., just the type DDR vs DDR 1-5 etc. The few, scraggly...
