    Someone tested games with only 1 E-core per E-core cluster enabled, letting it enjoy all the cluster cache for itself: https://www.overclock.net/posts/29549659/ The benefit is pronounced enough that this should've been available as a one-click game mode setting in BIOS.

    The single E-core in the cluster gets to party with the cache all by itself, allowing it to get its highest throughput without running into cache bandwidth contention issue. May also have something to do with fewer ring stops to deal with.
