Buyout Deal Worth $82 Billion Could See Netflix Gain Access to Warner Bros. Game IPs Such as Batman, Harry Potter, and Mortal Kombat

I am biased because I played co-op with my son as he grew up. I can honestly say that they surprised me with the need for puzzle solving. Some requiring going back later when you unlock a character that has the skills/powers necessary. The humor in the games had me LOLing far more than I would...

Buyout Deal Worth $82 Billion Could See Netflix Gain Access to Warner Bros. Game IPs Such as Batman, Harry Potter, and Mortal Kombat

I canceled all streaming a couple months ago. Including game pass. I put $80+ back in my wallet every month. ☠️ I retired early in life so have no need for mobile gaming. I have such a big back log of PC games, I won't get through it for years. Amazon and Epic keep giving me more free titles...

level1tech watching three ASROCK AM5 mobos like a hawk!

This issue is highly unlikely to get any traction. Beyond some prudent DIYers that are tuned into the scene, avoiding ASRock for their AM5 builds. The reasons being: Let us be generous and say that after eliminating PICNIC as the culprit, there are 1000 unique users reporting failures to date...

DRAM Prices Skyrocket to a Record 171% YoY Level as Shortages Continue amid Increased Demand from AI-Driven Applications

This decade has exacerbated my predilection for hoarding PC parts. That it keeps ending with me patting myself on the back for getting in at the right time, is the worst part.

Recommend a fan hub for a be quiet! Pure Base 501 please and thank you.

Gratitude homies! 🍻 Never had anything Noctua I was not stoked with. I have avoided RGB since retiring from doing custom builds for clients in early 2020. RGB sells PCs, but it is not for me. The Pure Base501is all black stealth. I am probably going to get the Noctua.

@igor_kavinski Is there any profit to be had at $430? Or is this trying to clear out existing stock?

A Lot has happened in the last year. New games. 1851 has matured. Arrow's gotten some performance improvements, plus more APO titles added. Amazon has the 285K shipped and sold by back in stock for $430 with 10% back on Amazon cards https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DFKC99VL/?tag=thefpsreview-20

Early Black Friday Deals on RAM, NVMe Drives, GPUs, and More

That was one of my favorite cards. Gave it to my son when I upgraded. I have a retail boxed EVGA GTX 650 just so I can keep a part of PC gaming history that gives me warm feels. I have not seen any deals worth posting about, that someone here has not already linked. Been some hot deals on used...

Depends on the games my friend. Turn up graphics settings in many modern titles and you place more load on the CPU, not less. When the CPU can't keep up, your are cooked. Aussie Steve tested it in a video the last week or 2. I would rather use upscaling and optimize graphics settings for the...

My hypothesis is it is due to students getting out for summer break. Very few year round schools in the U.S.? Free time = a lot more gaming. Deals I got aren't bad, but certainly not something people used to get trampled over. :p

Have to agree. Prime Day had better prices than anything I have seen so far this month on most desirable PC components.

Did not pick up anything on this list. Did get BF pricing on Asus ROG STRIX B550F GAMING AX II and be quiet! Pure Based 501 from Amazon, to finish off a Bazzite Steam Machine. As the rest of the parts for the build were collecting dust.

Amazon U.S. must have decided arrow is not selling well enough to be worth procuring anymore. Not in stock shipped and sold by, and the SKUs sales positions are sad trombone noises. Alder is easily outselling arrow, but still can't crack top 10. Arrow is doing much better at Newegg with the 265K...

    Intel Core Ultra 9 285K & Ultra 5 245K CPU Review

Both our launch era 360s had the RROD. MS had streamlined the process by then and taken the 1 billion plus write off, so it was a fast and easy process at least. Gave us a newer version with HDMI each time. Those both eventually failed. I knocked one off the AV shelf trying to unplug it right...

    Valve's NEW Steam Machine...

Like most consumer devices planned obsolescence is part of the strategy. You are expected to replace it not upgrade it. I use one to sweat in, one to watch media. Ain't no dust collecting. My OG's battery is dying, I need to hunt down a compatible battery pack headband like I have for the Q2...

    Valve's NEW Steam Machine...

What happened next will shock you! :p Worldwide shipments surpassed 50 million units for 2021-22 alone. Pandemic made VR explode in popularity and sales. The install base is over 100 million at present. Valve hopefully has learned from their experience. They only sold about 400K units of the...

DRAM Prices Skyrocket to a Record 171% YoY Level as Shortages Continue amid Increased Demand from AI-Driven Applications

It's always something going back to the first crypto boom. I buy parts any time there is a killer deal. DDR5 is the only component I am not well stocked up on. Only have one board that takes it and it's no big deal if I have to use one of my 5800X3D systems while I RMA. When I see people...
