Is the show even popular now? I watched the first season and thought it was ok but not great. An amusing nostalgia trip for sure. When the second season came out and many people I knew who were far more into it said it was just ok or bad I checked out.

No, its possible that it can run a card at high fps in menus, cinematics or certain maps/modes that will expose flaws in weak gpu components. I've got two games recently that are ramping up my gpu when they shouldn't be. A new card game that at 60fps ramps up the fans to 2500rpm unless I cap it...

The sandisk cruzer glide models I got a few years ago are average at best. The SD Ultras are still pretty good but I forget how old those are, probably 3-4 years now. The best drives I've used lately in the last 3 years are samsung usb drives, especially the metal housing ones, the BAR model.

I think Phison controller chips are considered one of the better ones.

70-75% of the power of a 70ti. So $600 starting point for the 12GB card perhaps? Nah, who am I kidding $600 for the 10GB version. $750+ for the 16GB version. Given that the 4060ti is supposed to be around $500.

In theory but I would argue that these days the traffic ticket revenuers have made the crazy far more common than previously thought. All due to dash cams, cell phone cams, and body cams.

I'd be less anti-seatbelt laws if I didn't see videos of cops doing a 180 to ticket a guy pulling into a gas station and dares to unbuckle his belt a mere 5 seconds before coming to a full stop. Then he shoots the driver because he was too slow to get his license etc. out of the car....near gas...

So windows update being normal then? Reminds me of that win7 "bug" where it would spend hours looking for some supposed update only to realize there wasn't any and stop after 6 hours of running at like 40% utilization if the machine was otherwise idle. I think that took me 2-3 hours to find out...
