NVIDIA Officially Reveals Its ARM-Based Processor, the RTX Spark Superchip, at Computex

worst kept secret ever. I find it laughable plenty of "influencers" and "content creators" claimed they "predicted" this announcement. The thing is about a year late already. Everyone and their grandmother knew it would be announced at GTC

Ongoing Speculation Regarding the Steam Machine Price Hints That It Could Be Much Higher than Previously Thought

When it was first announced I thought too little, too late. Now I think too little even later and too expensive. There are already rumors it might get cancelled and license the platform to 3rd party builders

NVIDIA Rolls GeForce Gaming Products into “Edge Computing” Category for Financials, Now Attributes to Less than 8% of Overall Revenue

The article is for Desktop CPU sales, not gaming GPUs, apples to oranges. It claims record lows but doesn't mention how much (I'm willing to bet not anywhere near 60%), also it's also from a german retailer, not worldwide sales. On a side note, MindFactory tends to sell lots of AMD cpus and...

NVIDIA Rolls GeForce Gaming Products into “Edge Computing” Category for Financials, Now Attributes to Less than 8% of Overall Revenue

Ever since RT and DLSS came out, I was sure AI would replace RT eventually. First, we got hybrid raster/raytracing, more recently hybrid raster/RT/AI, soon we'll have hybrid path tracing/AI and maybe in a generation or two, full AI. You just can't do brute force rendering anymore.

NVIDIA Rolls GeForce Gaming Products into “Edge Computing” Category for Financials, Now Attributes to Less than 8% of Overall Revenue

nvidia cancelled the 50 series super versions and postponed the next gen because of the RAM crisis. intel cancelled gaming gpus for the same reason and AMD is still out of the limb on whether PS6/Helix will even come out in 2027, the SteamBox is rumored to be postponed/cancelled already and...

NVIDIA Rolls GeForce Gaming Products into “Edge Computing” Category for Financials, Now Attributes to Less than 8% of Overall Revenue

Crashing? did you miss the part where nvidia has 90%+ market share on the gaming market? Sure it pales in comparison to AI, but its not pennies.

GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 5080 WINDFORCE SFF 16G Video Card Review

I have been questioning nvidia cards length since the 4000 series (except for the 4090), as the PCB is rather short in comparison. My case is barely enough to fit a RTX3070Ti, fitting a RTX5070Ti was out of the question, much less a 5080. Thankfully we now have options.

NVIDIA Rolls GeForce Gaming Products into “Edge Computing” Category for Financials, Now Attributes to Less than 8% of Overall Revenue

I don't think nvidia will abandon PC gaming. I think it might spin off the gaming division at some point, but even then, I have my doubts. You see, gaming and AI GPUs have too much in common hardware wise, so it only takes "a few more steps" to make an AI GPU from a gaming GPU (like they did at...

Sony Reportedly Plans to Keep Its Single-Player Exclusives to Its Consoles Moving Forward, So Sayonara, Wolverine and Ghosts of Yotei

I was looking forward for the Wolverine game. Guess I'll just have to wait a few years until it gets emulated. ;) ;) I guess Sony doesn't want their games running on Helix. I wonder if MS will retaliate. Not that Sony has much to lose anyway.

FSR Upscaling 4.1 Coming to AMD RDNA 3 Radeon RX 7000 Series GPUs in July

Actually, a performance DECREASE is most likely; whether the IQ increase is worth it is yet to be seen.

Happy Birthday, GeForce GTX 10 Series, Pascal-Based GPUs Turn Ten

IMO the Pascal series are the best cards ever. Inexpensive, awesome performers, cool and power efficient. I had a GTX1070 and later a GTX1070Ti.

Early Game Testing of Intel Arc Pro B720 Workstation AI GPU Shows Comparable Performance to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti

Dual GPU cards? it's not 2020 anymore multigpu is dead and buried.

Early Game Testing of Intel Arc Pro B720 Workstation AI GPU Shows Comparable Performance to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti

it's anyone guess how this would perform with drivers optimized for gaming. I think intel made the right choice. At least AI can justify the pricing.

Upscaling Technology Gets Put to the Coke/Pepsi Challenge, NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 Comes Out as the Winner over AMD FSR 4.1 in Blind Test

Actually, it would be close to DLSS2 and DLSS4.5 being better. Remember the upscaling part is pretty much unchanged since DLSS2 up until 4.5.
