Intel Arc A380 Graphics Card Pre-Orders Open in the U.S. for $139.99

I'm thinking of grabbing one to use as my new 'backup GPU', mostly for the curiosity of it. I really dig it's tiny form factor too.

ASUS Launches ROG Swift OLED PG42UQ, World’s First 42-Inch OLED Gaming Monitor

Yeah, that's pretty nice - I'm currently using a FV43U and definitely love the 42" size on a desktop.

Christian Bale Is Open to Playing Batman Again, but Only If Christopher Nolan Were to Return

Yeah, can't say I'm really seeing a need for a return to the Nolan universe. Felt like it's story came to its conclusion - which I appreciate. Now if Ledger was still alive, I'd want to see one final meeting between that Joker and Batman.

Cyberpunk 2077 Bugs Weren’t Caught Because QA Company Misled CD PROJEKT RED: Report

Yeah, I seem to recall CDPR also not showing the base console versions of the game before release (or it mightve been brief snippets.) They knew what a terrible state the game was in and were trying to hide it.

Sega Announces Mega Drive Mini 2 with 50 Games, including Sonic CD, Virtua Racing, and More

I wish they'd copy the Evercade 'Retrocade' (iirc) console. That one has a console which you buy standalone game packs for, and the game packs usually have a few games on them (usually by publisher). Take that style of console, but have Sega hardware cartridges to buy (ie: a 'Genesis'...

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness Premieres with an Estimated $185 Million Stateside, $450 Million Globally

Best part of the movie are the Sam Raimi horror elements - if they ever do a R-rated live action Marvel Zombies film, they need to get Raimi involved. Otherwise, it's a very 'by the numbers' MCU superhero film.

Tomb Raider and Deus Ex Lifetime Sales Revealed Following Embracer Acquisition

I didn't recognize the name either, but I do remember their previous name: "THQ Nordic". I'm glad with the move, felt like these series weren't getting the push they deserved/needed from Square Enix. I also think this puts Square Enix in a more affordable position for Sony to purchase.

Elon Musk Nears Deal to Buy Twitter for $43 Billion: Report

Does this mean my DOGE is going to take me to the moon now??

CNN+ Being Shut Down Just Weeks after Launching

You'd think that would make the most sense, definitely more sense than just folding the entire thing after spending millions on it.

Remedy Announces Max Payne and Max Payne 2 Remakes for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, Developed on Control’s Northlight Engine

I never got around to completing the original Max Payne or playing its sequels - so definitely interested in these remasters.

PS3 Emulation Reportedly in Development for PlayStation 5

I bet they're only developing PS3 b/c so they *can* nickel and dime players through a subscription service. I reckon these PS3 titles will be digital only and available through their PS Plus service (ala Nintendo Online) and it won't actually be able to run PS3 discs. Sony's been less bullish...

The Witcher 3 “Better” than Dragon Age: Inquisition, Says Former BioWare Studio General Manager

Not sure if a more accessible engine would've helped Dragon Age Inquisition that much. A lot of the gameplay in the game was filler-style content, I remember some of the maps felt like a boring slog (especially the tedious DLC content). Witcher 3 on the other hand, every quest in that game...

Not buying anything until the FPSr verdict comes in.

Fallout: New Vegas 2 Reportedly in Early Discussions at Microsoft and Obsidian

Yar, exactly. Just give Obsidian access to the IP and let them decide which part of the world they want to make a Fallout game about.

Netflix Removing Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and All Other Marvel Shows on March 1

Disney could've really poured salt on the wound by allowing Netflix to still host Iron Fist.

Chrono Cross Remaster Announced for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch

I never played Chrono Cross when it first came out, I picked it up years later for my Vita but couldn't get past its 'PS1-era' appearance. This remake will probably get me to pick it up again if the appearance is cleaned up enough (and seems like an excellent title for the Steam Deck).

ALT Motion Controller Wants to Replace Gaming Keyboards

I remember an article where a guy using a similar device (might be the same guy, actually) broke typing records. And I can see why, basically a single flick will take you to whatever key required. I do agree that it'd be a steep learning curve to learn, but probably worth it. Looking at it...

Steam Deck’s Battery Life Might Be Worse than Advertised, but SD Card Load Times Are Surprisingly Fast

It makes sense uncapped framerates would drain that battery quick. I'm thinking we'll see better battery life once Valve has their software ready to go (ie: optimized brightness/performance levels, Steam OS tweaks, etc). I'm eating up the videos for this device, really feeling pumped for it...

Steam Deck Users Are Surprised at How Big the Handheld Is

Not sure why there's surprise the thing's so large, I remember seeing comparisons with the Nintendo Switch during the media hands-on event where the Deck dwarfed the console.
