Too bad this game isn't a first person shooter. I can't stand the third person view.

Oh the Anandtexh articles that got wiped in without warning. Thought some of the threads or something got redirected to Toms. I was a bit confused.

So glad I got mine years ago when it was like $100 or so. Just waiting for them to start offering things I want that aren't available to the Lifetime Pass before I move to something else.

Yeah my stats export was broken on WCG. They finally fixed it.

Goldeneye 007 was possibly the first FPS game I ever played. To this day it is one of the top 5 FPS games ever. I don't think anything will be able to top it, but this one sure does look pretty.

Old people who type 2 words a minute chicken pecking the keyboard and move the mouse about as fast as an ant fart moves dirt probably won't put enough wear and tear on them to warrant replacements.

Not sure I'm willing to give up my current mouse setup that auto charges itself on the mouse pad for a LCD display I'll probably never look at.

For anyone else who wants to play, but you don't own a copy of the game. You can't buy it anyone but I have a copy with fixes that allows you to play. Just PM me and I'll send you the files to play.

I don't know about the first. Maybe the first to be mainstream about it, but even then irc was pretty easily accessible by the average internet user as well. AOL and CompuServe might have been the first paid ecosystem community so to speak.

At least you weren't the person who would pay for broadband when it came out around that time AND paid for AOL to use AOL on said broadband. lol Those people cracked me up.

I wouldn't worry about not being that good. A lot of the guys who join in on these events aren't the best FPS gamers either. The cool thing about BF2 is that it's a team based game and the person with the best aim doesn't necessarily win it for the team. Thanks for the bump though.
