The former exec said PC ports were like printing money, quick money. Why give that up? My first guess is because releasing it for PC will be the same as releasing it for the next Xbox. And as this is probably a golden opportunity to help strangle out and end Xbox as a dedicated hardware device...

And? Peter's article starts and ends with MP games. Skate, High Guard, and the abandoned GoW online game. Then ends with ARC Raiders and the upcoming, certain to flop. Horizon MP. Thanks for understanding the point. 🍻

Quoted for facts. Space Marine 2 ARC Raiders Battlefield 6 Elden Ring Black Myth Wukong BG3 Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Helldivers 2 Stellar Blade They all understood the assignment. All have sold well. Even with game pass sometimes in the mix.

Pedro with a thorough review.

Slot powered cards are perfect for the task. There for a bit last year, when 32bit PhysX support was removed, some were dedicating older Nvidia cards to the task.

Howdy from the year 2026. Where this board has consistently been the number 1 best seller on Amazon U.S. since Q4 25. There is simply no way anyone would have believed this at the time of this article's publishing. I picked it up for $120 on BF pricing 11/25 to go with a homeless 5800X3D. It is...

How high is the tinfoil hat crowd making this stuff up? This is Asus with every bad news cycle that comes their way

MIndFactory failure rates fall well within industry norms, as I surmised they would. https://wccftech.com/amd-ryzen-7-9800x3d-has-reportedly-one-of-the-lowest-rma-rates-in-ryzen-9000-7000-series/ Raptor Lake is still the only CPU that is beyond the norm. Probably owners that have had the 14900K...

While you are manifesting, manifest me a big inheritance or something, would ya? 🍻

I don't think any of the IHVs give a crap about us DIY shoppers at the moment. We are last in the queue. Su just said their focus is enterprise. We know it's Nvidia's, and gaming GPUs are back burner now. Intel keeps canceling retail products like the B77O and 285K+. They will all keep drifting...

Good review. How long do you test for in game?

Not certain if you are being playful with language; I do it sometimes. My favorite malphorism is rocket surgery. But on the off chance it is auto correct or something that is responsible; it's guerrilla. On topic: I see Intel canceled the 290K+. Just as well, only a couple of 100Mhz from the...

ASRock released another statement. https://www.techpowerup.com/345998/asrock-releases-official-statement-regarding-ryzen-9000-series-and-asrock-am5-motherboard-firmware They started with PICNIC, pointing out they even found debris in the socket of an RMA. Now, they are being as clear as mud.

Any updates on Wendell's 3 boards?

No, it's not. And you know this. It's how proper CPU testing works. It is why some sites still test at 720. How PCMR nobility games is also irrelevant. Nvidia's 50 and 60 series going back to the last decade, account for the vast majority of cards in use.

Even when they do; they have the best astorturfers money and brand loyalty can buy. They are continuing support because it is yet another gateway to GeforceNOW.

You read that computer base article right? X3D can use rock bottom JEDEC, and in single channel no less, while losing very little gaming performance. It is reflected in retail sales postions. LGA 1700 easily outsells 1851 here in the states because of DDR4. AMD dominates sales because of a...

I've seen this suggested by others. I think they have contacts too. Starting to think this is a leak. :p
