  1. Specifications for NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti Leaked and Is Rumored to Release as Early as Next Month

About Nvidia? No. I care about as much as they do about us gamers. Maybe they can use their AI models to figure out what I mean.
  2. Front page links not working

I don't know if anything was changed. Didn't do anything on my end, but it worked this morning for me.
  3. Front page links not working

Tried to read the 9950x3d review and the drop down menu for the different pages didn't work. Clicking it does nothing. The numbered pages at the bottom, nothing happens when I try to click on them. I'm stuck on the first page and can't get anywhere else. Have not tried on a desktop, but my...
  4. AMD Exec Confirms Launch Date and Pricing for Ryzen 9 9950X3D and 9900X3D Processors

As I have pointed out before, my use case is very specific. It's for certain Primegrid sub-projects that have tasks that use more than 32MB L3 cache or even sub-projects that use more than 16MB of L3 cache where you could run two tasks on the same CCD if you had more than 32MB of L3. Highly...
  5. AMD Exec Confirms Launch Date and Pricing for Ryzen 9 9950X3D and 9900X3D Processors

Call me when they make a dual 3D V-Cache CCD Ryzen.
  6. AMD Says It’s Working with Partners to Get More Lower Cost RX 9070/9070 XT GPUs in Stock and Denies Claims of MSRP Being Launch-Only Pricing

I don't have a microcenter near me, but the best buy's near me are all sold out of the cheaper versions while the more expensive AIB's are still in stock.
  7. Server boards and VRMs

I'm not mining on them. I run BOINC on them.
  8. Server boards and VRMs

That's correct. It's just those servers in that config are way, way to loud for an apartment or even a house really. Realistically though, it's already too noisy in my apartment. I got 11, Nvidia P100s with delta centrifugal (blower) style fans mounted to them on custom 3D printed shrouds...
  9. Server boards and VRMs

Yeah, I plan on mounting 40mm fans to the outer heatsinks and 60mm fans to the inner/middle heatsink as well. I will be going water cooling on this so heat from the CPU and GPUs shouldn't be much of an issue inside the case since the radiator will be mounted externally.
  10. Server boards and VRMs

All the current EPYC builds are in open-frame "mining" racks. This one will be going on a Fractal Define R7 XL.
  11. Server boards and VRMs

Yes it does. This isn't my first EPYC build. I have 6 of them and they all need active cooling on the heatsinks there to prevent the CPUs from throttling badly. Those are on the Rome setups I have. This one, while I have only ran it with a single 9654 for testing to make sure it works I have...
  12. Server boards and VRMs

I really dislike how server boards have such tiny VRM heatsinks. However, I happened to find some upgraded heatsinks for this dual SP5 board I have so I installed them. They're massive compared to the stock ones. Hopefully they'll keep those VRM temps in check so I can run full throttle on the...
  13. The Z Build(s) 3.0 - Go Big and/or Go Home

I thought the radiator had built in fan headers for easy wiring. Why aren't you using that?
  14. Testing Shows Recent NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 FE Cable Meltdown May Be Due to Uneven Power Distribution

The only thing we as consumers can hope for would be that these manufacturers build facilities in the USA to make them here.
  15. Testing Shows Recent NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 FE Cable Meltdown May Be Due to Uneven Power Distribution

Yeah because the scalpers that are sitting on them with inflated prices have no intentions to actually use them.
  16. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Has Allegedly Been Liquid Cooled to 20°C Using a Household Air Conditioner, and a RTX 5090 Is Next

You will burn up the compressor in those real quick. They make 4U rack-mounted water chillers that do what you want. They're purpose built for it so it wont burn the compressors up on them.
