Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 Dual Edition is Official: AMD Puts 3D V-Cache on Both Chiplets, Launches April 22

Proving numbers (well technically finding them, but they're not like, missing or hiding but anyway) are prime that are millions of digits long where their FFT length is greater than 32MB (The amount of data that the process needs to do calculations) will be able to still fit within' the L3 cache...

Seems this is actually going to happen. https://overclock3d.net/news/cpu_mainboard/amd-unveils-its-high-performance-amd-ryzen-9-9950x3d2-dual-edition-cpu/ Now if only RAM didn't cost two arms and a leg.

OT: A truckload of antimatter on the move (watch out for potholes...)

Will be cool if they figure out how to make an antimatter engine. IE: One that converts the power to kinetic energy for like power generation.

    Need a new headset...

Is your need for it to function wired and wireless only for charging purposes? Meaning, if the headset is dead you can plug it in and still use it while it charges? The A50s will do this. Communication is always wireless, but you can plug the headset into a USB port and it'll charge it while...

NVIDIA Is Rumored to Be Developing a New Flagship Blackwell-Based GPU, Possibly RTX 5090 Ti or TITAN, for a Q3 2026 Release

I doubt it. Its not like they need to boost gaming GPU sales with a new flagship GPU right now. Nvidia GPUs sell quickly and at premiums.

Ongoing AMD Zen6 Rumors Continue to Suggest a 12-Core Single-CCD “Olympic Ridge” Processor Is Inbound for the AM5 Platform

Dang man, you lost 6 threads in that calculation. Maybe you should have ran it by AI first to find your mistake. LOL All jokes aside, I am very interested in this. Especially if L3 cache scales with number of cores. That 24 core, 48 thread processor with 96MB of L3 cache would be freaking...

Google’s Project Genie AI, Which Lets Users Create Playable Worlds, May Be an Avalanche in the Making for Game Publishers

The arguments against AI costs and power consumption remind me of early computer skepticism. People probably said the same stuff. Too expensive, uses too much electricity, breaks all the time, requires expert knowledge to use. Fast forward a few decades and suddenly everyone's got one in their...
