Interesting. Yea I guess I don't have a true USB 4.0 drive yet. Don't really feel a need for one.

So I took a old 1tb PCIE 3.x nvme drive in an 17 dollar external USB C enclosure. And tested. My speed results are here: Then for giggles I pulled out my Sandisk 1TB external NVME drive. (supposedly faster and is encrypted and ran the same test.) So that is without modifying disk settings...

Quite honestly I held off on upgrading my video card due to the vram limits and availability/price. Just upgraded every **** thing else. Now looking the 5080 could be a nice boost but I don't want to cut my vram. Unless AMD steps up with a high end card then Nvida is really my only...

Unless there is an errant standoff causing a short against the back of the motherboard or something to that effect perhaps.

My thoughts exactly. Something is consuming channels for some of the sata ports. Or they are disabled.

I'll let some folks try it give it a month and if it's still rave reviews and great commentary I'll do an early access order.

That's not quite so easy but a nice thought. :) The engine backend would require a bit of tweaking to do that well and not have poor memory management and resource utilization.

Yea I got invites for this beta. Not even a little interested. Give me a beta for a fixed version of Anthem. that was fun even if the end game was abandoned.

He's like George Lucas., Great vision.... no so great on execution if left to his own devices. Lucas makes great stories but needs a solid director to translate them to a good movie. :)

I haven't enjoyed all of his creations... but I don't have to. And if he wants to go to space to make a game and that helps fund space travel/exploration I'm all for him spending corporate dollars to do just that.

Hence there is a market for a derivative game. Though this is pretty blatantly a copy.

If Sony committed to that I'd be more interested in waiting.

Hate to nick pick. Looks like auto correct took a type for Muted and turned it into the word smutted. While it is a word... I don't think it's the word you intended. I hate when Autocorrect does crap like that to me. It's in the first page.

I mean.... Sony has a point. As a consumer that has enjoyed the Horizon series... I wouldn't mind giving this one a shot. I mean it's better than waiting however long for the next one to come to console... THEN a year or so later to PC.

You know what... how about we change the definition of microtransactions back to extremely LOW cost transactions, instead of quick ways to take money? I mean seriously... in an MMO (because that's where it counts.) cosmetics shouldn't be 120 bucks.. it should be 1.. maybe 2 bucks and you...

Im glad. Let's hope they keep making games for their consumers. Im not one... but i hope the ones that do get more of what they like!
