  1. Nightdive Studios Is Eyeing Classic PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 Titles for Remastering, Clarifies What Happened with GoldenEye 007

I mean it depends, it's on a game by game basis. Do I need to play any of the Batman games again? Nah. But I'm sure there are 360/PS3 games I missed. Although I was 1000% more actively gaming back then, 20 years ago.
  2. Metro Developer 4A Games Announces Year-Long Events Celebrating the Franchise’s 15th Anniversary Including Updates for the Next Game and a New Pr...

Thanks for the 2033 Redux. I tried to play 2033 at some point, but for reasons I don't remember it didn't grab me.
  3. Some AMD Radeon RX 9070 GPUs Can Be Flashed with XT Firmware, Bringing up to 15%–20% Performance Improvements

Yup I did that too. Easy 800 to 1000 bump I did have an old ATI card that I bios flashed like 20+ years ago.... 8000 or 8500 maybe? It worked but when it got hot/overworked I got checkerboard pattern on the screen. I had to ziptie a spare 80mm case fan to it to keep it cool
  4. Corsair K70 RGB Pro mechanical keyboard...

my wife used my PC last night to make a shipping label and she hates it
  5. Corsair K70 RGB Pro mechanical keyboard...

@Grimlakin You are right!!! I cannot believe what a difference the wrist rest made. I've never bothered with one before, but with this thing being so sensitive it really made a difference! My speed is picking back up.
  6. Corsair K70 RGB Pro mechanical keyboard...

So I have decided I hate the volume scroll wheel. It's way too sensitive and too easy to accidentally touch it and max it out blowing my speakers off my desk. Did that this morning, sending the wife running in here to ask WTF I was doing. BUT ... I found this. "Quiet On The Set"...
  7. Corsair K70 RGB Pro mechanical keyboard...

I'm trying out the k55 wrist rest bc I already have it and I'm a cheap bastard. I don't need no freakin' magnets! :) Seriously though if I feel like it makes a difference I guess I will look into the ebay route as well
  8. MicroProse Announces Knights of Frontier Valley Which It Describes as “A Challenging, Old-School-Inspired Roguelike RPG”

I had no idea MicroProse still existed. I seem to recall a bunch of C64 strategy games.
  9. MicroProse Announces Knights of Frontier Valley Which It Describes as “A Challenging, Old-School-Inspired Roguelike RPG”

I think the general idea is no saves, if you die you start over from step 1. Basically a PITA. I have a love/hate affair for Hades.... the music, artwork, gameplay is so good. But the boss battles SUCK. I have never completed it, even on the easiest setting after more than 100 runs. Not...
  10. Corsair K70 RGB Pro mechanical keyboard...

I'm not sure I love this thing yet. It is very cool looking. I'll have to give it more time to see if I can get used to it, but for now I am having to type pretty slowly instead of banging away like I am used to. One thing I don't love are the F and J home key bumps.... they are barely there...
  11. Corsair K70 RGB Pro mechanical keyboard...

I got it, looks brand new. Going to take a bit to get used to the key spacing I guess. My typing is all over the place with this new keyboard, all kinds of mistakes if I am not going slow and careful. Also the keys seem SUPER sensitive which probably has something to do with that. If these...
  12. Corsair K70 RGB Pro mechanical keyboard...

Pulled the trigger. + 15 for shipping and tax, but still less than half a new one. I don't typically use wrist rests, not using on the k55... if I need one maybe that will fit the k70, they are physically pretty similar.
  13. Corsair K70 RGB Pro mechanical keyboard...

nice find I may grab one. Have a K55 (which is membrane) and some of the keys are sticking. I have taken it apart and cleaned it but still hitching on some keys. K70 being mechanical shouldn't have these type of issues I assume.
  14. 0patch - anyone ever heard of or used this?

I just saw an article today about 0patch (0patch.com), apparently a 3rd party company that does security/vulnerability patching for older windows, even back to win 7. They offer free patching of zero day exploits right now, after MS sunsets win 10 in Oct it will cost $28 a year. This is the...
  15. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Gets Rated for PS5 Ahead of What Sources Say Is an April 17 Release on PlayStation Platforms

I really wanted to like this game. But I'm sensitive to FPS games, and some (not all) can give me severe headaches and even make me nauseous. This is one of those games. I cannot play this for more than 30 minutes without getting a splitting headache. I didn't have problems with 3rd person...
  16. Sid Meier’s Civilization VII Is Now Available Worldwide, Bringing a Revolutionary New Chapter of the Strategy Franchise to Players on PS5, PS4, X...

The reviews are not great. Not just bugs but general gameplay. We'll have to wait for patches and DLC to trickle out to see if they can save it. Still rocking Civ 5 with the Vox Populi mod.... I tried a 6 game the other day and it just rubbed me all wrong, me no like. From the vids I've seen...
  17. Borderlands 4 Launches for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store on September 23

3 was meh, I didn't finish it. TPS was not great. Tiny Tina (I just played the one-shot, not the full one) I didn't love. I think I might be done with Borderlands.

So they changed the cable just enough so people can't use the one they already had? Awesome
