  1. Star Wars Zero Company Is a Turn-Based Tactical Game Set During the Clone Wars, Coming from EA in 2026

I'm not a fan of turn based stuff but I'm glad to see something done with the IP other than the types of games we've been getting.
  2. Details Have Emerged About the Canceled Wonder Woman Game from It Starting as a “Showpiece Epic” to Becoming a God of War Clone

I don't think it requires hindsight entirely. Even long running studios with a good track record have been absolutely screwing the pooch on releases for the last several years. The gaming industry as a whole has a problem thanks to its hiring practices and the inclusion of consultancy grifters...
  3. Newegg Shuffle Program Returns as NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs and Newly Launched RTX 5070 Ti Sell Out in Record Time: “Unprecedented Demand”

It's a sad state of affairs that we have to beg for the opportunity to be customers of NVIDIA and buy their $2,000 GPUs. This is what happens when other companies fail to compete.
  4. Warner Bros. Games Shuts Down Three Studios, Including Monolith Productions and Its Wonder Woman Project

Not only that but the people that developed the games Monolith were known for are largely gone. We know who the writing staff were on Wonder Woman and it didn't bode well. These developers also couldn't get the patented "Nemesis" system to work with the game. Again, another bad sign.
  5. Details Have Emerged About the Canceled Wonder Woman Game from It Starting as a “Showpiece Epic” to Becoming a God of War Clone

This was going to be another in a long list of flops and massive disappointments. We dodged a bullet with this one. When you see stuff like this getting written by people who worked or consulted on the game: That's a red flag to me. It means the game was going to be preachy and most likely...
  6. Warner Bros. Games Shuts Down Three Studios, Including Monolith Productions and Its Wonder Woman Project

There is a big difference between Star Ponzi and everything else. Star Ponzi is crowd funded. As long as dumbass people keep buying JPEGs and empty promises CIG has the resources they need to continue to fund that scheme. Publishers and investors will not sink money into a studio on fruitless...
  7. AMD Confirms No Reference Designs for the RX 9070 Series and Official Benchmarks Show Up to a 42% Performance Increase over RX 7900 GRE

The fact that the 9070 isn't being compared to the 7900XTX is pretty telling and not in a good way.
  8. NVIDIA Has Its Hands Full Investigating Multiple Issues with RTX 5090 Ranging from Missing ROPS, Black Screen Issues, and Melting Cables

I've seen some **** from NVIDIA and ATi, AMD etc. over the years but this generation is probably the worst so far. Take any one of the issues and it would be crappy, but not all that big a deal so long as that issue was addressed adequately. In this case, the issues keep piling up.
  9. Cyberpunk 2077 Sequel Will Feature the “Most Realistic and Reactive Crowd System in Any Game to Date,” CD PROJEKT RED Reveals

You should. The American gaming industry is an absolute **** show. It takes twice as long to produce anything as their Eastern counterparts and they do so with quality and features that are a regression from games over a decade ago.
  10. Newegg Shuffle Program Returns as NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs and Newly Launched RTX 5070 Ti Sell Out in Record Time: “Unprecedented Demand”

I've entered the NVIDIA verified Gamer program, the Newegg shuffle the two times its been up already, as well as multiple Zotac and MSI drawings to have the "privilege" of becoming a paying customer for a 5090 and I haven't been selected yet. I probably never will be. My luck with RNG is...
  11. ASUS Launches Pre-Orders for the ROG Swift OLED PG27UCDM: “World’s First 27″ 4K OLED Gaming Monitor” Features DisplayPort 2.1a with 80 Gbps...

No, its just you. These "best" monitors are always 27" displays for whatever reason. I bitch about it in just about every one of these threads because I'm not a fan of that size.
  12. The Z Build(s) 3.0 - Go Big and/or Go Home

    There's no kill like overkill.
  13. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Won’t Be Available at MSRP from AIB Partners Because That’d Be “Equivalent to Charity,” It’s Claimed: “Very, Ve...

Video card manufacturers crying poverty isn't something I have any sympathy for when they've been ripping us off for years with AIB cards costing so much more than the Founder's Editions.
  14. Assassin’s Creed Shadows Delayed to March 20, 2025 as Ubisoft Pledges a “High-Quality, Immersive Experience” for New Action RPG Set During 16...

This excuse only takes you so far. Ubisoft has made a number of cultural missteps with this game and Japanese culture. You'd think. The problem is that they hired SBI more than likely given that SBI is packed with ex-Ubisoft employees and the two have a long history together. SBI has proven...
  15. Assassin’s Creed Shadows Delayed to March 20, 2025 as Ubisoft Pledges a “High-Quality, Immersive Experience” for New Action RPG Set During 16...

The new release date for Assassin's Creed's release places it on the anniversary of the Aum Shinrikyo subway attacks. Nice job Ubisoft.
  16. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 “Blackwell” Series to Usher In a New World of AI Computer Graphics This Month, Led by RTX 5090 ($1,999) with up to 2x the...

I'll be going with the 5090 if I can actually get ahold of one and not have to deal with scalping BS.
  17. Assassin’s Creed Shadows Delayed to March 20, 2025 as Ubisoft Pledges a “High-Quality, Immersive Experience” for New Action RPG Set During 16...

It's going to flop. It won't flop as hard as Concord, but it will flop none the less.
