Photos, Frame Generation benchmarks for 1440p ray-traced gaming, and a generational comparison for the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 have surfaced online ahead of the GPU's release this week on Thursday, April 13. According to the comparison, the GeForce RTX 4070 will cost $599 and offer 1.2x and 1.3x better performance than the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti and GeForce RTX 3070, respectively, while the Frame Generation benchmarks allude to big gains with the DLSS 3 feature enabled in games that include Forza Horizon 5 and Spider-Man: Miles Morales. The photos can also confirm that a Founders Edition of the GeForce RTX 4070 will be available, unlike its more powerful Titanium version, the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti.
