Academy Award winner Michelle Yeoh is set to return as Philippa Georgiou in Star Trek: Section 31, a new movie that will center around the character introduced in Star Trek: Discovery's first season, Paramount+ has announced. According to a synopsis, the special movie event, which will begin production later this year, will see Georgiou join a secret division of Starfleet tasked with protecting the United Federation of Planets, where she'll face the sins of her past. Yeoh won an Academy Award for Best Actress this year for her role as Evelyn Wang in Everything Everywhere All at Once, although her career stretches way back, having starred in classics that include Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (2002) and Supercop (1992) with Jackie Chan.

Presumably set in the 23rd Pre-Kirk timeline.

Hopefully we will also see more of Shazad Latif along with cast members from Strange New Worlds.
