AMD Introduces Ryzen Z1 Series “Zen 4” Processors, including Ryzen Z1 Extreme for ASUS ROG Ally Premium Handheld PC Console

AMD has confirmed that the ROG Ally, ASUS' new premium handheld PC console, will be powered by a new family of Zen 4 processors called the Ryzen Z1 Series. The Ryzen Z1 Series comprises two models, headlined by the Ryzen Z1 Extreme, a CPU that features 8 cores, 16 threads, a GPU with 12 AMD RDNA 3 compute units, and 24 MB of cache. USB4, as well as LPDDR5 and LPDDR5X memory, are supported in the new AMD Ryzen Z1 Series.
