Konami has announced that METAL GEAR SOLID: MASTER COLLECTION Vol. 1 will be released on October 24, with physical and digital pre-orders for the new title launching today at an SRP of €59.99. METAL GEAR SOLID: MASTER COLLECTION Vol. 1 is a compilation of older Metal Gear games that, while not too exciting for those who know about emulators, offers many great Hideo Kojima projects in a single package, including the original 1987 Metal Gear and the first three Metal Gear Solid Games. Konami added that fans can also purchase Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater as standalone digital titles separate from the collection for €19.99 SRP, while the Official Konami Shop has also been updated with a range of new Metal Gear merchandise and apparel (e.g., MGS3 Snake Ration Plushie).

I wish they ported MGS The Twin Snakes from the gamecube. Its the closest thing to a remaster we could have.

Yeah, that remake of MGS1 using the MGS2 engine was impressive. Shame it has been stuck on the Gamecube. Emulation on PC via the Gamecube/Wii emulator Dolphin is probably the best way to play the game these days.
