Can a geriatric Tom Cruise jump off a helicopter and survive? Who knows, but the answer appears to be coming, as the 61-year-old actor has told The Sydney Morning Herald that he hopes to make Mission: Impossible films until he's in his eighties, citing Harrison Ford, who returned this month as Indiana Jones, as a real inspiration to him. The comments come as the first reviews for Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One have begun rolling out, many of which appear to be highly positive of the nearly three-hour film that includes a major train sequence and counts Rebecca Ferguson, Simon Pegg, and Hayley Atwell among its cast. Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One will arrive in U.S. theaters on July 12, 2023.
