Rashid Launches for Street Fighter 6 on July 24

Capcom has announced that Rashid of the Turbulent Wind will be swooping into Street Fighter 6 on July 24 as the game's first new character addition, boosting the current roster, which already includes Ryu, Chun-Li, Cammy, and other favorites, from 18 to 19 combatants. Players who own the Deluxe Edition, Ultimate Edition, or Year 1 Character Pass for Street Fighter 6 can expect to find Rashid in various modes of the game later this month, although those who only own the standard edition will be able to try out the new character for free for one hour with a Rental Fighter ticket, obtainable in the in-game Fighting Pass. Rashid was originally introduced in Street Fighter V, where he served as a main protagonist for the 2016 game.
