Uncharted 2 Director Calls Out Mission: Impossible Dead Reckoning’s Train Scene

Bruce Straley, the game director behind Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, has tweeted a set of comparison images that suggest the train sequence in Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One was copied straight from the iconic opening of Naughty Dog's 2007 game. Christopher McQuarrie, who directed the new film with Tom Cruise and was recently asked about the similarities, has reportedly told reporters that while he has heard of Uncharted, the team drew no inspiration from the game. Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning opened on July 12 and set a new five-day U.S. opening record with $80 million.
