Insomniac Games has revealed that Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart will not include ray tracing support for AMD Radeon users when it launches on July 26, 2023. It's unclear why this is, but the developer says that it is working closely with AMD to enable this support as soon as possible. The omission would explain why Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart's PC specifications only include NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics cards under its ray tracing columns.

Which is ironic considering PS5 uses RDNA2, and the game had some minor ray-tracing features on that console.

I wonder how much Nvidia paid for a window of exclusivity. ;)

Would be interesting to compare the look & feel of PC vs PS5 versions of the game wrt to RT
