LG has announced that the UltraGear GR93U-B and UltraGear GR83Q-B are now available for purchase at LG.com and LG-authorized retailers. The first is a UHD (3840 x 2160) IPS gaming monitor that supports up to a 144 Hz refresh rate and 1 ms (GtG) response time, available in 27- and 32-inch sizes, while the latter is a 27-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) IPS display that supports up to a 240 Hz refresh rate and a 1 ms (GtG) response time. Customers can get these monitors for 30% off with free expedited shipping as part of a promotion that runs from August 25 to August 27, 2023.

I'm really thinking my next monitor is going to be OLED. But who knows if I fall face first on a good deal with a pocket full of rubles..

I know my next HDTV is going to be. I'd like my next primary monitor to be that too. When it comes to LCDs though, I tend to prefer IPS over VA (despite the superior blacks and much higher contrast ratio of VA panels).
