ASUS has officially announced that it will be expanding its lineup of RDNA 3 GPUs with the TUF Gaming AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT, TUF Gaming AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT White Edition, and TUF Gaming AMD Radeon RX 7700 XT graphics cards. Described as a "triple threat" by the manufacturer that offers more performance and cooling than the previous generation while offering the same low noise levels and power draw, the TUF Gaming AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT models feature 16 GB of GDDR6 memory on a 256-bit bus and 3,840 stream processors, while the TUF Gaming AMD Radeon RX 7700 XT features 12 GB of GDDR6 memory on a 192-bit bus with 3,456 stream processors. Both of these are 2.96-slot cards.

I'll wait to get excited from these. If they are not in the 20% faster than a 6800xt range there's no point.

The 7800XT basically 70% of a 7900XT, so that should give you a rough indication of it's performance.

Doing some poor man's math guesstimates: That would put it on par with roughly 6950XT performance, or probably about 15% better than the 6800XT performed at.

The kicker will be price for me - the 6800 clocked in at $650 MSRP (although today I see them going for low $500's). Rumors have the 7800 XT MSRP coming in around $499. If that's the case - this will be a slam dunk. Only 15% faster, but $150 less expensive is a good tradeoff.

AMD quoted the MSRP as $499. AMD stated that the card is mostly faster than the 4070 in rasterization and a tick slower in RT, and $100 than it to boot...let's see what raw numbers our boys come up with at launch.
