PS5 Gets a Major Update with Support for Dolby Atmos Audio Devices, Larger-Capacity M.2 SSDs, and Much More

PlayStation has announced that the PS5 system software update 23.02-08.00.00 is now available for download. The new update, which was previously in beta but now available to all users, adds many major features to the PS5, including support for larger-capacity M.2 SSDs (up to 8 TB) and compatible Dolby Atmos-enabled audio devices. Some of the other additions include PS Remote Play support on additional Android devices and new voice command options for those in the U.S. and U.K.
