Radeon SVP and GM Scott Herkelman Announces He’s Leaving AMD This Year: “Godspeed”

Scott Herkelman has announced that he is leaving AMD at the end of the year. Herkelman, who currently serves as Senior Vice President and General Manager of AMD's Graphics Business Unit, revealed the news on X today, pointing out that he has been with red team for seven years already, with career achievements that include launching three generations of AMD Radeon graphics cards based on the RDNA architectures. There doesn't seem to be any word yet on where he's headed, but AMD named Jack Huynh as its new Senior Vice President and General Manager, Computing and Graphics, earlier this year.
