Sega has announced that it has canceled several unannounced video games, including HYENAS, the flashy, zero-gravity multiplayer FPS that Creative Assembly unveiled in June 2022. According to a press release that Sega Sammy Holdings shared today, the titles were killed off as a response to the profits that the company has been seeing from the European region, which have been described as being "low." HYENA's cancellation comes as a surprise to many, as the game held a PC closed beta not too long ago, from August 31 to September 11. Total War: PHARAOH, Creative Assembly's latest game, is out on October 11, 2023.
