PAYDAY 3's launch has been described by some as being a bit of a disaster, with many early adopters complaining about how they couldn't even join a match after the game's release on September 21 due to server issues and other problems, but apparently, those troubles are now over. In a new update shared on the official PAYDAY 3 site today, developer Starbreeze Entertainment revealed that its new co-op heist game has now reached over 3 million unique players, a welcome stat that seems to suggest anyone and everyone should be able jump in and rob a virtual bank with their friends now without any real issue—especially with Starbreeze CEO Tobias Sjögren having confirmed that upgrades have been made to PAYDAY 3's infrastructure and more. Starbreeze also confirmed that tons of quality-of-life improvements, bug fixes, and new functionality is coming to the $39.99 game in the coming months, with an initial update slated for release early this month.
