AMD Brings Frame Generation to Radeon RX 6000 Series with Updated AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition Preview Driver for AMD Fluid Motion Frames

AMD has announced that it has updated its AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition Technical Preview Driver for AMD Fluid Motion Frames, bringing the frame generation component of AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 3 to Radeon RX 6000 Series GPUs. The feature, which was originally rolled out for the newer Radeon RX 7000 Series last week, can be enabled via HYPR-RX and Adrenalin Edition software to boost the performance of what is said to be any DirectX 11 or DirectX 12 game, including Cyberpunk 2077, with deeper integration for select titles that include Starfield and Red Dead Redemption 2. AMD says that it is currently working on improving the overall smoothness and image quality of its Fluid Motion Frames technology, which, according to AMD's benchmarks, can help deliver frame rates as high as 201 FPS in demanding titles like Forspoken.

I tried this on an RX 7600 playing Cyberpunk, DL2 and Forspoken. Only Forspoken showed any improvement.
