Starfield Sees Up to a 149% Performance Uplift with Intel Graphics Driver 31.0.101.4887

Intel has announced that the Intel Graphics Driver 31.0.101.4887 for Intel Arc A-Series Graphics and Intel Iris Xe Graphics is now available for download. The new driver, which weighs in at 702.8 MB, not only introduces support for Arc A580 Graphics and Game On Driver support for Total War: PHARAOH, Lords of the Fallen, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III's upcoming beta, but it also ushers in a number of game performance improvements, including what is said to be up to a 149% uplift in Starfield at select resolutions and settings versus the previous driver. Starfield, however, still suffers from at least two major issues on Arc graphics, including potential instances of texture corruption, according to the release notes.
