Bloober Team is currently hard at work on its modern version of Silent Hill 2, but more remakes in the survival horror franchise may be coming. That's according to a financial results document that Konami released today for Q2 FY2024, a portion of which, labeled Digital Entertainment, includes a statement about how the company is "working diligently" on a number of projects, including what are apparently "remakes" and "completely new entries" for Silent Hill. No titles were specified, but the original Silent Hill game, which came out in 1999 for the original PlayStation, could probably use a visual overhaul, not to mention Silent Hill 3 and Silent Hill 4: The Room—the last Silent Hill Game to be developed by Team Silent. Bloober Team's Silent Hill 2 has yet to receive a release date and remains listed as "coming soon" on Steam.
