AMD has announced that the AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 23.11.1 driver is now available for download. The new driver, which weighs in at 640 MB (or 1.2 GB for the version that includes Vega and Polaris Series Graphics Support) introduces game support for four new games, including Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, The Invincible, JX3 Ultimate, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, the campaign of which is now available to play for those who pre-ordered. Alan Wake 2 has also received support for Radeon Boost, a technology that, as AMD describes, dynamically lowers resolution of the entire frame when fast on-screen character motion is detected via user input.

I understand what they are doing with Radeon Boost

No need for all of that detail if things are moving so fast you cant see it anyway, and framerates tend to drop during periods of fast movement.

That said, back when I had my 6900xt I could never bring myself to enable it.
