Today happens to be N7 Day, and BioWare has decided to celebrate the occasion in one of the best ways possible: by releasing a new teaser trailer for the next Mass Effect game, the fifth in the series.

Yea... that's near 100% trailer. It is 'representative' of in game footage. Meaning it's either spot on OR as accurate as a blizzard cinematic to game play.

Still waiting for mASS effect 5 : The Revenge of Miranda's Booty

That level of fidelity is certainly possible. Note that there were no faces, and no skin or hair shown (human or otherwise), and that the outfit wasn't that complex. Simple(r) models and lots of atmospherics, and aim for a few years down the road in terms of hardware capability, this is what we should be seeing.

I'm seeing cinematics in game now that make me think "wow, this is a crappy prerendere...- wait, it's realtime". And that's in games still designed nominally to run on consoles with neutered AMD APUs.
