Why does AMD love to jump around with its naming conventions so much? No idea, but it seems red team can't break the habit, as a Chiphell poster has shared an ad that suggests the next mainline series of Ryzen desktop processors may not be a direct follow-up to the current family—or, at least, in name.

Amd, Intel, and Nvidia need to hire the people that name colors for paint at home depot to name their crap.
