ENERMAX has announced that owners of its LIQTECH TR4 II AIO CPU cooler series can now contact the company for a complimentary AMD sTR5 upgrade kit, enabling them to be upgraded for AMD's newer Ryzen Threadripper 7000 Series and Ryzen Threadripper PRO 7000 WX-Series processors.

That's cool.

When I thought I was going to be buying one of these systems (I changed my mind when the reviews dropped) I reached out to Watercool to see if my TRX40 Heatkiller IV would be compatible with these new sockets.

They told me that best they could tell at the time, the dimensions lined up, and the retention forces were within spec, but they said they hadn't officially committed to it yet, as at that time they had not yet seen any of the new motherboards or chips for testing, and they wanted to confirm first.
