Valve has announced that it is officially accepting AI content on Steam as part of its commitment to "ship as many games as possible" on the platform. A new AI disclosure section is being introduced for developers, while users can expect to see a new system that will allow them to report on illegal AI content.

Users reporting stuff? That surely won't be abused...especially by artists butthurt over AI.

So wait... as long as the category fits there will be AI generated content with no other checks?? Users are expected to protect copyright. Interesting. I would have hoped at least a cursory look... but by NOT checking for that specifically they simply put the onus on the creators to protect their IP and more importantly remove themselves from any sort of legal liability in that area.
