Seagate Ushers in 30 TB+ Hard Drives with Launch of New Mozaic 3+ Platform

Seagate has announced the launch of Mozaic 3+, a new HAMR-incorporated hard drive platform that currently enables areal densities of 3 TB+ per platter but is expected to deliver even more capacity in the years ahead, with up to 5 TB+ per platter noted on roadmaps.
