Takuro Mizobe, CEO of Pocketpair, has revealed that his team has been receiving not only "abusive and defamatory comments," but even "death threats," following allegations that Palworld, their new multiplayer, open-world survival crafting game, is basically a Pokémon rip-off.

wtf is wrong with people?!? Death threats over a video game? Some people need to learn perspective.
I completely agree. It's bullshit. Companies defend their IP all the time. If they are not taking legal action it's because there is no actual action to be taken. Copyright is of something is hard to prove. If differences are more than 20% then you're in the clear.
