AMD users have learned that the Ryzen 8000G Series, AMD's newest APUs with Zen 4 cores and Radeon graphics, do not support ECC RAM despite the company having suggested otherwise on AMD.com.
So, wait for the 'Pro' variant that only OEMs can buy...
Though thankfully the usecase for these CPUs with ECC is somewhat mitigated by the chiplet versions including an iGPU, which was not the case for previous iterations on AM4, meaning that there's little reason to use the APUs for light server purposes.
