Funcom has revealed a brand-new trailer and featurette for Dune: Awakening, a new open-world survival MMO from the developer and publisher that challenges players to survive on the most dangerous planet in the universe—Arrakis, the fictional desert planet popularized by Frank Herbert's Dune series of novels, and, more recently, Denis Villeneuve's big-budget films.

I don't know why they call these MMOs when they are all splintered servers with a really low player cap.

I guess when Destiny is a MMO anything can be a MMO. My yardstick for an MMO is your game has to be able to support at least as many players as the EC tunnel did back in 1999.
