Joker: Folie à Deux, a musical sequel to 2019's Joker that sees Joaquin Phoenix back in his role as the clown prince of crime alongside Lady Gaga's new Harley Quinn, has been rated R for reasons that include strong violence, some sexuality, and brief full nudity, per the Motion Picture Association's latest daily ratings bulletin.

1. Story of abuse? With Harlyquinn finding herself?

2. Story of rescue with the two broken people making each other whole. Evil and batshit crazy... but whole.

Something totally different and unexpected?

I'm curious to see the results.
