A new film based on 24, the action drama TV series that saw actor Kiefer Sutherland battle terrorists and other threats as U.S. counter-terrorist federal agent Jack Bauer in several seasons, each taking place within a span of 24 hours, is currently in early development at 20th Century Studios, sources have learned.

I was such a 24-fan that I bought the DVD box sets for the first 5 seasons back in the day. But at some point I sold them, I'm a little fuzzy on the details. I think I got an offer that was more than what I paid for them new.
