343 Industries “Unintentionally” Releases Campaign Files in Halo Infinite Test, Spoiling Major Parts of the Story

343 Industries’ Joseph Staten has delivered a message to Halo fans warning them that they might want to avoid certain parts of the internet, as campaign spoilers for Halo Infinite has hit the web as part of its ongoing multiplayer technical preview that’s being conducted to fine tune the multiplayer portion of the game. While the developer would probably prefer to say that it had no idea where the leak came from, 343 Industries admitted that the story spoilers were leaked because it screwed up and “unintentionally” included campaign files in the preview build that was later data mined by more technically proficient fans. Community director at 343 Industries Brian Jarrard warned Halo Insiders not to post any of this content to their channels, as they will likely be met with a takedown notice from Microsoft’s army of lawyers.
