343 Industries’ Halo: The Master Chief Collection (MCC) is a brilliant package that bundles together all of John-117’s adventures alongside notable entries such as Halo: Reach, but one game that it’s missing is Halo 5: Guardians. Despite being released years ago on October 27, 2015, the fifth mainline Halo installment is still exclusive to Xbox consoles in light of Microsoft’s willingness to bring the Halo experience to PC gamers.

Unfortunately for Halo fans who are anticipating a more thorough collection, that fact won’t be changing anytime soon.

Brian Jarrard, 343 Industries’ community director, has stated that there are “no plans” whatsoever to bring Halo 5: Guardians to the PC platform. Jarrard admitted that the developer is fully aware of how there’s demand for it, but 343 Industries would prefer to focus its...

And nothing of value was lost.
While it is certainly the weakest entry into the series, I'd appreciate being able to play all of them on PC. 343 already brought us the MCC and they are bringing Halo Infinite to PC. It doesn't make any ****ing sense to exclude Halo 5 from the platform.

it doesn't make sense creatively, but financially it does.
Bringing that to PC would be the most work, and probably the least profitable.

Far from it. We actually have the multiplayer of Halo 5 Guardians available on PC. So, it wouldn't be the most work of the bunch. Halo Reach was by far the most difficult of the bunch to port over based on what 343 has said on the matter.

As for profitability, you are absolutely correct. It's the weakest entry in the series and will sell the least amount of copies on PC.

They saw how much people bitched about Cyberpunk so they said eff that why take the headache to make it for more platforms? No thanks we are good with our millions.

What the **** does Cyberpunk's ****ty launch have to do with Halo 5 Guardians? 343 has already brought the Master Chief Collection to PC with great success. It's generally received good feedback and has been profitable. If they aren't bringing Halo 5 to PC, it's because they know the game was **** and few people will buy it. The game won't be worth the trouble and expense to bring it to PC for the few that want it to complete the collection on one platform.

Everyone is learning lessons from the CDPR fiasco.. Imagine if they did release it for PC and it was ****. All over the internet you would hear.. "Didn't they learn from CDPR and Cyberpunk?!"

There is a huge difference between Halo 5 Guardians and Cyberpunk 2077. First off, the former is a COMPLETE game. It's not in an alpha state and continuing to undergo development after being sold to the public. Cyberpunk 2077 is a lot like Star Ponzi in that it's not a finished product. It more closely resembles one than Scam Citizen, but it's far from a complete game in its current state and even further away from what was promised. The basics expected of any open world game aren't even in place.

Halo 5 wouldn't have any of those problems. Again, we already have the multiplayer from Halo 5 on PC as it is. Porting the rest over wouldn't be the same **** show that Cyberpunk 2077 was. 343 knows how to do it and it wouldn't be all that much work compared to what they've already done for titles like Halo Reach. If they aren't brining Halo 5 to PC, it's because they don't think the profits will justify the cost of doing so. It's a simple business decision and nothing more.

Cyberpunk 2077 and CDPR's fiasco doesn't translate to this situation. It is making other companies think twice about bringing incomplete games to release and then fixing them afterwards. But again, that's not the situation 343 is in with Halo 5. We are talking about porting a game, not creating a new one.
