3D V-Cache, an on-chip memory solution for improved performance that AMD recently updated for its soon-to-be-released Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor, is expanding to not only Threadripper CPUs, but also AMD APUs, according to the latest rumors out of China.

Let's be honest... putting the vcache under the die isn't revolutionary but evolutionary. Still I am gonna buy one :D

Tsing didn't you just post this in another thread or is this because of a different article?

Or is this different because APU's as well? basically anywhere 3d v cache could work it's going to be tucked under now?

They could just make fully-featured APUs with more cache and win...

They'd be even faster than their X3D SKUs for gaming with a dGPU (more memory bandwidth, less latency).
