A Cross-Dressing Cloud Appears In New Final Fantasy VII Remake “Theme Song” Trailer

Square Enix has released a new Final Fantasy VII Remake trailer that’s packed with new footage, as well as new music (“Hollow”) from the grand maestro himself, Nobuo Uematsu. If you’re curious about how well the development team brought the original game’s classic sequences to life, this is the one to watch.



There’s about two entire minutes of cinematics, which tease Shinra’s executives (e.g., Hojo, Heidegger, Scarlet, and Reeve), Cloud and Tifa’s childhood, a confrontation with Sephiroth (with Jenova lurking in the background), and SOLDIER member Roche, an original character created just for the remake.









One of the more amusing portions is sure to be the Honey Bee Inn sequence, in which Cloud gets admission into Mafia boss Don Corneo’s mansion by dressing as a girl. While the remake...
