Virtua Fighter, a series of fighting games developed by Sega AM2 that hasn't seen a new mainline installment since 2006's Virtua Fighter 5, is finally making a comeback after nearly two decades, according to new statements that Justin Scarpone, Sega's new global head of transmedia, made during a recent interview that provides insight on why Sega is reviving many of its classic games, including Shinobi and Jet Set Radio, across games, film and, TV.
